I think nickster is right.
They flew back together from where ever the surgery was done.
They got back in time for Fisher to play in the last part of the game.
I wish and pray for his little girl and the whole family.
I'm also praying for Dee Brown.
It's a wonder that the Jazz won tonight.
So many different things going on that could have been a distraction.
GS team members gave Fisher a hug when he returned. That was great sportsmanship.
I have to say it was one of the greatest fun games I have watched,
It could have been won by either team.
Thanks for the question.

Hey Renell,
Derrik Fisher's daughter had a cancerous tumor which she had to have surgery for. Reports are that the surgery was successful and that was very touching to hear Derrik encourage others to get their daughters checked as well. He's a good ball player and a great human being.
Kindly,
Nickster
