The thing about intelligence is that the more you have, the more you realize you don't have. I consider myself highly intelligent, and I'm smart enough to know that I am not nearly smart enough be president. That job brings requires awesome and intimidating responsibility.

That said, I would be better than GW Bush, who isn't smart enough to know that he isn't smart enough for the job. Get it? :-)

Absolutely. Unfortunately for the masses, I would not care about popularity, but rather getting things done that are in the best interest of this country. That usually runs counter to what politicians and the general population want.

Leaders lead and are resolute, not apt to be swayed or deterred by the herd.

We could use a good dose of this style for the next few decades. They are going to be rough ones.

I would always be in trouble. I am no politician and would probably piss off quite a few people. Illegals would be out of here, the media would have few rights if any in regards to their access to me. I would get rid of all discriminatory practices like affirmative action and such things. Oh, within a week Congres would be interviewing Mafia hit men..
I would veto any bill which has any riders attached. I would grant congress a fixed sum to spend in any year and veto any bill which calls for spending any more. I would support congress being enrolled under social security,
I would also require any congressional travel be listed in the newspapers.

Close the borders, end all of the hand outs and wipe out

I would probably get assasinated.

Only because I believe in sending illegals out of the US, and securing our borders.
And because I believe its stupid to just take out the troops from Iraq....you catn just leave the country in an instant.
Plus, everyone screams about being equal....so I would remove anything that was unequal based (special college funds towards certain races or genders, etc).


But hey, a lot of people wouldnt like it, and one person might just get the nerve to take it out on me because I would act on the right things to do.
