God is One , He is All .. He is Omnipotent,
Omnipresent, Transcendant and Divine.. He is in us all, our souls are mere reflections or part of His great soul, our self a part of the Greater Self.. it is our failing to realise and awaken our souls that can reach out to him, that is a path to him.. our ultimate destination..
even if we consider His human manifestations, Jesus Christ for christians and Ram or Krishna for Hindus, we observe the great Divinity in them being as human as possible, their divine humanity... this i feel, reveals the standards we can n shud try to achieve... We also notice their humane suffering and Divine forgiveness.. So though in human form He may feel diappointed, He will forgive us n love us anew
As a hindu, and a student of the Vedas n Upanishads, i believe in "advaith" - the non-dual,Super-concious (soul) or God, who is above all the trivial emotions of a human who are still in 'maya' ; so i dont think He will be disgusted for He knows all that is,was n will be....
Maybe to think of Him in our (tiny, miniscule) human terms only shows of our Ignorance to fathom His greatness

God IS us.
We ARE God.
And sad to say, those with the greatest God consciousness are not usually embraced well in this society/culture because too many people are threatened by the pure simplicity and genuineness.

He'd fit in with those who follow his footsteps (and there are some out there).
He'd be forgiving and loving... he'd look to the inside not the outside of people

He always loves the sinner but hates the sin. He created us in his image and even today, there's lots of good to be found.

Peace

You need to be asking, what if God is NOT one of us? What if he transcends the finite sphere or has created it in all its complexity? How could an infinite God be one or all of us? That does not make any sense.

if u were a Hindu,u'd have already understood that God will be among us,that God is among us and that has been among us.i think that u may have at least heard of the Ramayana and Mahabharata, since you're a Christian.

He was one of us. I imagine you have heard it before. His name is Jesus. His actions and words on this earth show the character and nature of Himself and the Almighty. Reguardless of His opinions of our disgusting behaviour He showed mercy and love towards us.
