I just wondered cause i wanted to get my hair done for mother's day couldn't remember if i could do highlights or not. If not that's okay i'll wait til after the baby is born

Yes, highlight is fine since it does not penetrate the scalp. And usually with highlighting, the creme does not touch your scalp anyway. I've had mine done a couple times this pregnancy, and it's no problem. Just be sure that you are in a well ventilated area since the fumes might make you feel a little sick. Hair coloring is unlikely to cause problems. However, I would avoid doing so (and all other avoidable exposures) during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. See the fact sheet below.

yes it is fine as long as you keep yourself in a WELL ventaliated room, find one that uses as little chemicals as possible and if anything maybe only use a temporary one. But I did my hair while I was pregnant, but also be warned that your hormones may cause the chemicals to work differently too.

highlighting your hair shouldn't hurt your unborn baby, but I'd be careful of perming your hair. Highlights don't take long and usually there are no strong fumes.

i colored my hair when preg shes so freaking smart u should be fine i asked my hair dresser she said these days it is fine to do she did it when she was preg the big reason not to do it is b/c the color might not stick mine do tho
