The mother will only eat them if they die, not if you touch them....its safe to touch them but not recomended. Wait a week or so then maybe if the mother is more comfortable then i would try.

Try not to handle them for at least a couple of weeks because it is an animals nature to kill their young if they smell odd to them but, having said that, if you need to, consider the mother's nature. A friend of mine's cat just had kittens, and he needed to cut the cord on one of the kittens and the mother had no problem with it.

I would suggest not handling them unless the mother is rejecting them and you need to bottle feed them. Give your cat a chance to be a mom..but if they seem hungry or rejected, then step in with kitten replacer milk.

Cats do not eat their young. However I would advise handling them only as much as you need to because you may upset the mother and she could hide them on you.

they will not eat them but sometimes will refuse to take care of them once they have the human scent on them but if this is your cat who you have had I dont think it would be a problem my brothers cat had kittens and I was down there every day with them you just cant help it there too cute

you can touch them, just wait until they are done feeding and are sleeping, the mother may get a little antsy, but just keep them low and right beside her.

let them be for a week when she is with them go to touch them slowly f she doesnt hiss or growl at you you will be fine. thats what i did with my kitty. was the only one she would let touch them.
