I know in elementary school when I was like 7 or 8 New Kids on the Block was all the girls could talk about and I really couldnt care less. And the original Ninja Turtle movies were what the boys talked about and I liked that better.

Oh I remember New Kids....ugh...I didn't like them either. I was only 8 years old and I felt like they were way too old for me. All of the other girls talked about which one was the "cutest" but I just thought they looked like a bunch of old men. lol
I also remember Pop Secret popcorn being a big deal when I was in elementary school. It would pop into different colors and you never knew what color your popcorn would be until you popped it. Kids would bring it in for lunch and have contests over who had the coolest color. lol

Christmas and going to the state fair or Six Flags.
All three of those were really really big deals to me.
Also my ballet classes. I wasn't that into bands or movies at that age.
