You DO get your points back, but you have to wait awhile. I'm not sure how long but I can look for you.

Hmm, maybe I'm wrong, this says if no best answer is chosen for your question you get the points back, but nothing about if there are NO answers.

Yes you do get the points back, but it takes a while.
