Hah my mom was the one putting together swing sets, bikes, doll houses and the like all through MY childhood. I can mow the lawn and when I start driving I will make certain that I can change a tire and check/change the oil. There's no reason for me to leave myself vulnerable by refusing to learn a practical lifeskill, and the same can be said for men doing traditionally "female" tasks. Everything you mentioned are skills people need to have if they expect to get by on their own in the world.

I could mow the lawn...after spending some time figuring out how to start the lawnmower.
I do know how to change a flat tire.
I will learn soon how to change the oil.
I could definitely put a swingset together. It's not hard, just follow the directions (if it's not a package, I'd be tying a rope to a tree)...it's fun!

The question is imbalanced...you seem a little hard on the men.

1. I could mow the lawn.
2. I have and I could probably do it again but I'd be very nervous driving it home.
3. Maybe. I took a basic auto class in high school and we learned how to do that but that was 20 years ago.
4. Possibly but it would take me a week and I don't think I'd let any kids play on it, lol.

I have done all those things at one point in time. It wasn't a awing set though, it was a aboveground pool and then a porch, and on the oil change, I just helped, but the tire thing, I was the only girl in our class that could put the tire back on the car. I mow the lawn all the time.

I always mowed the lawn. We had a double lot. After I left he got a ride on mower.

I have changed a flat in my day, now I just call AAA.

I have also changed the oil on my car. Now I can afford to have it done for me.

I think I could put together a swingset. I can pitch an eight man tent in 10 minutes flat.

I can mow the lawn.

I cannot change a tire or change the oil.

I can assemble some things, but I hate doing it. I doubt I would have the patience for a swing set.

Never tried to change a flat, but probably could.
Could probably change the oil, too.
