How many of you are sick of listening to a bunch of right and left wing nuts argue back and forth over the same old things?

Yeah good answer. Move to where I'll be happy. Don't believe that I'm really b@tching. I do my best to try to educate people on the corruption and idiocy of this two party system and to get them to look past the lies the media sells them. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Generally speaking, sheeple have long been brainwashed to see only two choices of just about anything;
Repub or Dem (aka; Conserv. or Lib,)
God or the Devil (aka; Heaven or Hell,)
"With us" or "against us,"
"Cool" or not,
Pretty or smart,
Etc., etc., etc.
Video media addiction aids the process, in reducing various brain functions & touting the typical 2 choices in their programming (i.e.; families on "Trading Spouses" & similar shows are typically opposite ends of a wide spectrum; Atheists & devout Catholics, workaholics & laid back relaxers, etc. etc.)

I hear you...Loud and clear.

I'm very conservative by nature, and I'm with you here. Is this the best this nation can produce? Two bickering parties that are bought and paid for and are totally dependant on the other? Where are all of our free-thinkers out there? Everyone is sold on "left" or "right", and throwing sound bytes at each other without really knowing their subjects with any kind of depth or understanding. The sad part is that a majority of the people have all dug in on a "side" that will only produce short term political gains for their "team" instead of looking at long-term, honest ideas from people who don't fit into the mold of the current two-party system.

There def are a lot of extremes bouncing back and forth these days. The very things we hate we can almost count on. There will always be wars and battles over money and resources. blah blah blah it would take a lot of strong individuals coming together to change something that has been happening for centuries. What do you plan on changing? Are you right or left wing or common sense? It starts with the individual and an idea.

America's winner take all and two party system prevents Nazis like Hitler and Communists like Stalin from coming to power. Many European countries which arrange their representative body by percentage of the vote allow for multiple fringe groups, and forces coalition governments to form. For example, Hitler took over Germany with only 33% of the total vote. In the United States with the party system only an identifier for the individual running, each individual must cary 50+ % victory in each election, in his state for the Senate, District for the House, and the Electoral College for President. This forces the Major American parties, the Republicans and Democrats to largely be Center-Right (Rep) and Center-Left (Dem) and fringe voices, which can lead to more authoritarian and even totalitarian forms of government are excluded. The American Communist Party and The American Nazi Party will never carry more votes then either the Democratic or Republican candidate in any election, which in the long run preserves America's democratic institutions.

I agree, I am also tired of the two party system. It doesn't solve the world problems. I would like to see an Independent Party candidate run for President and other political positions/ We need a change ASAP!!!

Everyone is tired of just 2-choices, but why does a 3rd party think the presidency is the only thing to go for. Wouldn't starting in Congress be better and than build from there?

Boy! isn't that the truth. They are so busy arguing with one another they very seldom get anything accomplished. The one thing they do get accomplished each year in a hurry is the pay raise.

True the choice between Republican and Democrat is no choice. If the last two elections didn't prove that nothing will.

I for one am.

I think the problem is there are so many polarizing figures in American media nowadays.

That and the fact that alot of people are too stupid to want more than what the polarizing figures spoon-feed to them.
