It's required by law just as if one was to change their name. This is because if any company, person, entity has any business with this person or mutual interests, they have a right by law to take action or refute if a person may be filing illegally or in a fraudulent manner.

Example: If someone has a $200,000 boat you know about, yet hasn't listed it as an asset yet the person owes you money and filing Bankruptcy, you have a right to be a party of opposition, and this public knowledge gives you the chance to act.

It doesn't have to be a newspaper, but, it's the most effective way for such public records to be distributed and communicated.

It is a required part of the legal process. It must be posted so that creditors are aware of the pending bankruptcy. That way, they may contact the court if they feel they need to. I live in NY and we do not publish anything in papers regarding divorces unless personal service cannot be effectuated and the court directs publication in order to try to find the other party.

As public notice. With a divorce, if you can't find the person you want to divorce (been separated for a while and have moved, spouse took off) you can run an ad in the paper for approximately 30 days stating you want a divorce from said individual. If there's no response, you have an uncontested divorce.

I'm assuming it can also work for other legal matters.

the easy answer is "public record"

the real answer is to embarass the bankruptcy filers and divorcees so much that they regret what they did to end up in the paper to begin with. also, as a preventive measure. if you don't want your name in the paper (for something negative), then don't file for bankruptcy or get a divorce.

**although there are a lot more worse reasons to avoid bankruptcy (bad credit for up to 10 years) and divorce (emotionally scarring your children and/or yourself)**

it is sturdy to get feed returned, it makes you think of extra approximately your thoughts for each call. Of the three you listed i like Gideon and Wesley is high-quality. Wes is in all hazard the extra suitable nickname then Gid that's variety of lovable. I ought to declare i'm style of biased against the call, Wesley, because of the fact of a caught up kin I as quickly as met with a son named Wesley. He became right into a real brat. So the call, Wesley, is in all hazard better then in basic terms the ok which I supply it. on the topic of Julius, think of drink, your son would be listening to something approximately Orange Julius for the the remainder of his existence. Plus Julius or Julian sound style of girly. i will hear the infants calling a boy by potential of those names the two Julie or Julia. for that reason i could in no way call my son Julius or Julian. i like Leon (Lee-On or Lee-In) the two pronounciation is advantageous. at present one in each and every of my widespread names is Calvin Ellis. I additionally like Cooper Leon or Ian Gordon. those will possibly no longer sound so advantageous to you. yet it is the way it is going isn't it. we won't please each and every person, so please your self. choose a attractiveness you like and with any luck won't reason your baby any grief. superb needs for a satisfied healthful toddler. *:)
