Which AMD processor is the BEST and good ones???

I'm thinking of getting

(Socket AM2) AMD Athlon™64 X2 6000+ Dual-Core CPU w/ HyperTransport Technology

is this good???

Well that would be very good if you are limited to AMD, as that is currently the best model they make. Unfortunately for AMD and all of their fans on here, the Core 2 Duo E6600 outperforms the 6000+ in games which I believe is what you are looking for, and is about $10 cheaper. You can refer back to the benchmarks I provided in your other question. And one more thing, it runs cooler too, not that overheating at stock speeds is a problem for either, but since so many people feel the need to bring that up, just thought I would mention it.

AMD is the more stable, and cooler running of the processors....the speeds for an AMD are almost always faster overall then their Intel counterparts. The one you have selected is excellent choice for overall computing.
