My home computer used to have a LINKSYS Wireless G-Router hooked up to it so that I could have wireless internet access for my laptop. But recently the home computer crashed and I have yet to hook the router back up to our new computer and I'm not sure I remember how to do it. Can anyone tell me how to set my wireless router back up to our new home computer.

Well I will make the assumption that your new computer replaces the old one. If that is the case and your router was plugged into the old computer just plug that cable into your new computer and you should be good to go.

The router runs independantly of any computers connected to it unless you had a very odd setup.

Well if the wireless router still works just fine with your laptop this means its not dependent on the host computer for anything. In which case you should simply plug in the cable between the computer and a LAN port on the router. Then wait a few sec's for it to figure out the new settings and you should be good to go. The manule should have a vary good description on how to do this.
