Cotton should keep you cooler, but if the shirt is tight, that might be why you are getting the extra sweatyness. Try a little baby powder after you put your deoderant on. Remember a LITTLE deoderant goes a long way.

deodorant is not antiperspiration coverage

also, it could be our age or hormones, illness and nerves all cause you to sweat a lot. Your underarms, hands, pubic area and feet. This is totally normal. Sad but true.

If you are a bad sweater, actually wear a body clinging white cotton t-shirt "under" it to absorb or wick away the sweat.

Some girls just sweat more than others. I had this problem and it seemed to only occur in the summer, so I knew it wasn't a health issue. I tried this product I seen on TV called certian dry and it really works. Its also pretty inexpencive and you can find it at your local drug store. Good luck hun!

Usually cotton does not make you sweat because it is supposed to "breathe." I don't know what is going on. Are they a cotton blend? If so that may be the problem.

Cotton usually doesnt make you sweat. In fact it is the best fabric to keep you cool. You might want to try a new deoderant...try Degree or Arid...they are good.

cotton is one of the most breathable shirt to have, although when you layer tanktops under a cotton shirt, it helps to hold in the heat, do you wear cammies a lot? if so try going without for a day and seeing how it turns out.

If its a heavy cotton, it will absorb the sweat, and make you look wet under the arms. Consider checking your deoderant also, to be sure it has anti-perspirant also - deoderant will only mask smells, it wont keep you from perspiring!
