Would you wear sandals to church? If so, would you wear them with socks or without?

One lady at my church wore sandals, and obviously had a pedicure.
Those long, long big toenails had to be acrylic. Deep red polish, almost purple. And white crosses painted on them. Made me want to gag.

My 8 yr old granddaughter wore sandals last Sunday, and her grandpa was highly upset because she didn't wear socks.

When the Christian Church (or any other church for that matter) was founded everybody wore sandals!!! I'm not religious but even I think that it's what's in your heart that matters - not what's on your feet.

Yes. As long as the sandals fit me perfectly and my toes are clean why not. Personally I love my kids to wear socks not just with sandals alone. However,if a kid doesn't wear socks with sandals to church it's no big deal.

Well I live in Alaska so there are only a few months we can wear sandals. But, yes I have worn them without socks to church. I go to a come-as-you-are church.

I wouldn't worry about it. Don't go to church to impress others, go to church to impress God. If you wear sandals any other time, you might as well wear them in the house of God. It's not like you are hiding anything from Him.
I would opt for the sandals without socks. I hope that helps.. =]

We wear sandals to my church all the time. Girl it's getting hot . Never with (SOCKS). JUST MAKE SURE YOU GET A PEDICURE FIRST.

the point is that you go. no one should care what you wear in church. there their for god not for a fashion show..
and don't wear socks with sandals that just not cute

It depends on the type of church and the type of sandals, if they are really cheap and dirty, they wouldnt look nice. If you did wear them then I wouln NOT wear socks with them, it doesnt look right.
