Late Tuesday night I felt a rumble for about 1 second. Was that my imagination?

No you did not imagine it. It was in the science news and had a 2.4 on Richter Scale. Nothing to worry about though. There are earthquakes all the time but they are deep and you really don't feel them.

LOL makes me laugh. There are approximately 1 million earthquakes every year around the world. Only 10,000 of them are felt by humans. It probably wasnt your imagination seeing as there are not one but HUNDREDS of fault lines running through NY state.

NY is on a fault so it is possible to have an earthquake.
