I think you need to grow up and realize you took a civil and legal committment in the marriage. Go to counseling first and find out if there is a way to salvage the marriage.

Couples fight.Especially after "making it legal".WHY you may say? BECAUSE OF THAT PIECE OF PAPER!!! Do you love him? Are you sure you want out? Are you ready to see him with someone new? Don't do anything you can't take back.If you love him at all,fix your marriage.You lived together for 9 yrs,don't you think you should give your marriage a chance?I've been married 23yrs,and I'm telling you the truth,you will get out of it what your willing to put in.the main reason couples break up is selfishness.Bottom line.Good luck to you.

That magical piece of paper wreaks havoc. I divorced my husband after 2 yrs, lived apart for 1 yr. and now live together in the same house as friends, raising our son and have been for the past 3 yrs.
