What kind of tortoise does this sound like to you?

Question

Yellow skin with dark splotches, Plastron is dark, rear scutes are serrated and flared. Around 3-4 inches long.
Is it a Bolson?

Young tortoises can be tough- but you just described many species. Hopefully, if you are talking about a pet, it is not the very protected Bolson!
