I think it'll be Brady Quinn because of his intelligent play and accuracy.

Russell, however, could be a contender to break lengthy pass records. Also, it'll be very interesting to see how he attempts to throw off of a 275lb. linebacker and 300lb. tackles and ends.

Quinn, Cleveland has been addressing an offensive line for years now.
For the past two years the Browns have signed the #1 free agent offensive linemen, LeCharles Bently in 2006 and Eric Steinbak in 2007. For the first time we actually CUT a starting lineman, Joe Andruzi, YES the all pro lineman.

There is going to be alot less presure on Quinn, with all the weaons surrpounding him. Jamal Lewis, who is only 27!! and then you got Braylon Edwards, and Kellen Winslow.

But thats not it. OAKLAND HAS THE WORST LINE IN The NFL. The best move they could make right now is keep Andrew Walter in at QB and use Russel at Center haha. Ok Oakland had 11 picks in this draft, and they got 1 lineman?? Thats smart, then they dont even take him till thier 4th pick.

I think its just logical, that Russel will be a Bust not because of his ability, but because of Al Davis and that ownership, I cannot belive that they passed on some of the good OG or OT early on.

Quinn simply because given the state of Oaklands O line and their desparate need for a qb Russel is going to get thrown into the breech way too early and as a result his career might over before it begins. It seems like the situation in Cleveland though not ideal will keep Quinn around a little longer.

Brady Quinn. He's played in the big games, with an NFL style offense, with a coach who won 3 Super Bowls with the Pats as an assistant. People say he's never won the big game. True, to an extent. Not winning the big game was never really his fault. He never had a great defense around him like Russell did at LSU.

Russell is being judged off of one game: the Sugar Bowl. His name was never brought up by anyone as a potential #1 Overall pick until that game. And he beat up a very weak ND defense.

Quinn is also playing for the team he grew up cheering for as a kid. That should give him a little extra motivation to succeed. No doubt in my mind, Brady Quinn will be the better QB.

Cleveland now has the makings of a O line and Oakland hasnt even started to make one. Therefore, Brady Quinn will be the better quarterback earlier.

I think they'll both be busts, but I think Russell will be a bit better than Quinn.

i think russel without a doubt, quinn probally wont get much playing time, and if russell still had moss (just throw it deep dawg as he told colepepper ) open and shut case... oooh and lsu also ran a pro style offense with, jimbo fisher the best off cordinator in college football russell he came out of high school the number 1 high school player in the country so why not end your four yrs in college( including redshirt yr) the same way number 1 so look out elway and marino here he come .......oooh by the way go lsu....lol

Quinn. Russell will be playing on a bad Raiders team with no OL,RB,WR so he'll be on his back half the time and wont develop. Quinn at least has OL J. Thomas, RB J. Lewis, WR B. Edwards and TE K. Winslow plus he played on a pro style offense in college.Quinn should develop with those players at his disposal

That's hard to say... they are in the next level! Some guys do well in college, but suck in the NFL... some weren't the greatest in college, but learn the real game and adapt well!

Russell played better competition in college and faired well, he's big, athletic and everything you'd want in a QB.

Quinn didn't play well against elite teams and played in a weaker conference.

we'll just have to wait and see in a couple of years..........
