i want my grey eyes to really stand out and show of their colour

gray eyes are easy to contrast with. Use something dark like navy blue, black glitter. Do not use colors like gold or silver, It wouldn't compliment the gray. Think of your eyes like a shirt, and the colors of the accessories you would wear with them.

Great question - I have a client with blonde hair and grey eyes and to make her eyes really pop I use a beige base with purple in the crease or to highlight her eyes, sometimes as a liner. Olive greens also look great on grey eyes.
Retro Eye - Another favourite is to use Nude Beach by Bare Escentuals as a base (light shimmery) with Retro Eye Liner (again Bare Escentuals) and create a cat eye. It is a very subtle sexy look.
Smoky Eye - Another good look is a modified smokey eye or a reverse smoky eye. Bare Escentuals has a kit that has great colours to use plus gives you directions on how to do the smoky eye.
I do not represent any specific line but love Bare Escentuals shadows and liner shadows because they look great and last forever.
Experiment and play with not only different colours but also with different eye makeup styles.

With blonde hair and grey eyes you could wear almost any colour. I would probably steer clear of amber tones though, it can make you appear unwell. Cool colours are best: blues, mauves, pinks, even greens and greys. Try to match your outfit. Experiment and have fun. :)

I think a silvery color would look great and accentuate your eye color. I know some people say a contrasting color can do that, but I like the monochrome look. Try it and see how that looks on you. Blue would bring the color out but I just don't care for color eyeshadow, especially with you being blond. Try the silvery gray and let us know how that looks on you.

the worldwide is your oyster - so the asserting is going. with your eye and hair colouring you need to use just about any eyeshadow shade. Sparkly silver or gold look super for evenings.

Try a shimmery Light blue. Use some black mascara and eye liner. At the corner of your inner eye, apply a light shimmer of color.

Plums, dark purple or cranberry colors, look wonderful.
Actually slate and greys are dramatic and really pretty.
