Alex Rodriguez is the best player the Mariners ever had.
Edgar Martinez, however, I would rate as the greatest Mariner.
Griffey would be third behind these stalwarts.

Edgar. He was one of the greatest hitters in the game. He played his whole career in Seattle. and he was a good guy who cared about the community.

Ken Griffey Jr. when he played there. He put up HUGE numbers there, but after he left he started getting injured non-stop. He was on pace to easily break Hank Aaron's record in his time with them.

Definitely Edgar Martinez. That guy was freakin amazing! He didn't play for the money or the fame. He loved the game and it showed through interviews and him interacting with the fans. His career skyrocketed and I'm not going to lie, when he gave his farewell to the team, I felt myself tearing up. He meant so much to that team, and baseball altogether.
