i can usually tell if a black person speaks, verses a white or an asian. I dont believe it to be an accent, but ive noticed that black voices tend to be deeper. would native africans who learned english sound like an afro-american?

No sweety. The color of someone's skin does not equate physical differences in the body.

Geeez people! Get off the kid's case! He just asked a question. It wasn't racist... It was just a question. A hell of lot better of a question that some of you other thumbs down morons ask!
Remember.... man has evolved,, were not monkeys anymore!
As for your question sir... I have no idea, but it might be possible. Now all you people crying racist at me right now. Settled down... having thicker vocal chords is not a bad thing.
To prove my point, Let me ask a question:
QUESTION: Do black people have darker skin than white people?
ANSWER: Of course they do. It not a generalization, it's not a racist remark, it's not a statement of hate, and it doesn't make me a bigot.
I know we have along way to go to end bigotry... but please in the mean time... don't add to the problem!

No, Basenjii's do no longer bark, they yodel!! Very loudly. in addition they climb, dig, and are not prevalent for being relatively friendly and candy. we've dealt with relatively some them on the hospital the place i'm a vet tech, because of the fact we had a basenjii breeder and rescuer, and a minimum of seventy 5% of them have been biters. That stated, they are alluring and sparkling, and can be very staggering.

Even if its a scientific reason, "thicker" vocal cords wouldnt make sense. Im not quite sure.

You should probably speak with your doctor about this and while you're at it, see if he can recommend a good therapist.
