we live near the factory

they are incredible work boots and an investment
take good care of them and they will last for years and you can actually just replace parts of them and the leather uppers can last at least 5-10 years!

If you need them for work, then you can write them off your taxes as work related items.

Go to a quality boot store and ask for the "seasoned" boot fitter, take several pairs of socks you plan to wear and the jeans/work pants as well. Get care instructions, and Treat the leather before you "ever" wear it .

Best wishes. Enjoy your "boots". I would recommend any style. Just pick the most appropriate for your needs.

I have two pairs and both are the lace-up ones. I have skinny ankles and it fits "snug" and protects me. I wear ropers as well, for chores, not riding.

I love Ariat boots. All different kinds to choose from too! I have two pairs of Ariat Crowne Pro high top riding boots. They are pricey but omg they are so comfy and go so nicely with a lot of cute outfits!! I also have a pair of Ariat heritage packers (my parents own a ranch) again super comfy! My bf wears a work pair for hunting. They are the best!!

I love my ariats but I do not own the Fatbaby line because they just do not fit my feet properly (too clunky). My friends have them and they ride in them (western saddles). I ride english and need a narrower boot. I personally think they are more style than functionality, but that is just me. If the shoe works, were it. But if you find it sticking in the stirrups, be safe and wear a different boot for riding and leave the Fatbabies for going out.
