I stole from macys and paid $174.99 for a civil fine and was aprehended by ontario county sheriffs in victor, ny. does any one have an idea of what might happen? and shall i ask for a public defender tomw when i stand b4 the judge also sohuld i plead guilty, and does anyone know if i can talk to the d.a. my self? I am only 16 and this is my first offence.

Get a public defender. He will help you cop a plea. I can't really say what kind of deal he can work for you.

you're lucky
stealing anything over $100 is considered a felony
you will most likely be put on a one year probation, having to pay monthly probation fees
you cannot talk to the D.A ... thats your attorneys job
plead stupidity and ask for mercy from the judge
