...all legitimate casting posts. We use them on a regular basis and members of our family have been cast in paying and non paying (student films/demos) from these posts. All (3) of them are accessed by agents & casting directors. You can also use their mailing lists for your own mailings. My daughter has been auditioned & been cast in professional theater productions/music videos/commercials/television shows and films, as has my husband - from these (3) sites. LA Casting is the one used by a lot of professionals, but keep in mind that you do not get the complete list that the agents, etc. get. You can also use Actors Access & LA Casting to get the sides for what you are auditioning for....or you can look at/print out sides for practice & awareness of what others are auditioning for. :) Good Luck!

There are no genuine web sites for talent search. Some agencies have informative web sites, but all of the real outfits require the submission of head shots, and/or audition tapes, and/or videos, and/or live auditions.
Every professional in the entertainment industry knows that nothing on the Internet is real. You are better off looking for "talent agencies" and "modeling agencies" in the telephone book. Don't forget to bring the eight by ten glossies.
BTW - if you have had neither lessons nor experience, forget going to an agency. You have to start not from wanting to act, or sing, or be a model. You have to start from learning how to act, or sing, or model.
Barbizon Schools take inexperienced applicants with good appearance and, for a substantial fee, train them for modeling. It is not easy or cheap. There are acting schools too. There are also lots of music teachers who give singing lessons.
Modeling, acting, and singing are crafts. They require talent, training, and persistence. There are no shortcuts.

It is not a good idea to do research for modeling or acting online, as you will only find scams. Legitimate Talent Agencies do NOT adveritse online.
Try: Backstage.com and Actors Access.com for actor auditions.

Actorsaccess.com - has postings from across the nation (and is part of breakdown services which is the agency that handles all the breakdowns for all the TV and Films , and if you are in Los Angeles, then LACasting.com which mainly handles commercial work.
