AC/DC is probably the best Australian band ever - at least they are the most influential and famous around the world.
As for being the best band ever - I think bands like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Queen are better - a lot of those bands seem to have longevity, so lets see whether people are still listening to AC/DC in another 20 or 30yrs.

Although AC/DC is up there on my top ten list of best bands, I must admit they are not the best for me. If I am looking for a BANG I would prefer to listen to old punk but usually the short song length is annoying but John Wayne is a Nazi by MDC is excellent or Institutionalized by Suicidal Tendencies. However, for me to be on the top of my list drumming must be excellent for that "Moby Dick" and "Bonzo's Montreux" fit the list. For guitar playing it must be stellar. I really like Jimi Hendrix's "EXP." Then you have to consider over the top rock'n'roll excesses. That leads me to what I consider to be the best band ever - Led Zeppelin. Who can hate "Dazed and Confused?" Who can hate any part of Led Zeppelin IV? Who can hate "The Immigrant Song?" I must however admit Angus Young's mooning expeditions are legendary.

I seen them in concert in the 80s, they are definately in my top 10, for bands from that era.

I like ac/dc justin timberlake nickelback and enya my songs are enya (anything) justin timberlake sexy back nickelback if everyone cared and ac/dc I LOVE IT ALL! U CAN"T FORGERT ABOUT THE LED I LOVE IT
