Well, I was diagnosed with hydrocephalus a few months ago and I've been really depressed since i started puberty and I get surgery next Thursday. Depression is a symptom and It's getting worse and I can't take it anymore. i've even contemplated taking one of my sister's Zolofts just to end my sadness. i can't take it anymore. I'm so sick of feeling this way and it's hard for me to take all this pain. My parents are trying to help me through everything and are very supportive but sometimes they don't understand. I'm sick of feeling this way. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can feel better becasue I can't stand it anymore.

Also, I just moved in the middle of my junior year and have like 1 friend so that's even worse and I isolate myself, which is aslo another symptome. I go to the library during lunch. I'm quiet and shy. it sucks...seriously.

I would suggest that you seek counseling particularly at this time. You may need someone to talk about how you feel and the counselor may help you until the hydrocephalus gets resolved.
This may be a hard time for you, especially with moving and having to develop new friends. It does not matter how many friends you have, but how good they are and your ability to share your thoughts with them. Eventually you will work through this difficult period of your life and things will open up. Stay calm, determine what you are interested in, and get more involved in those things. If you can, volunteer to help others. It could increase your circle of acquaintances.
