Probably a a few days ago. I always have had that brain-heart problem. The heart always wins though. I think it's just that you can change your way of thinking, but you can't change what you truly feel is right.

My head is no match for my heart, but my heart is no match for my inner brat. The brat usually wins. He's still p.o.'d at me from quitting smoking. My head said yes, my heart said yes, but boy can this guy hold a grudge. Well, tough you-know-what. I'm a-sticking to my guns on this one, I hope I hope.

My head. My heart made me weak and vulneable. I have to put my guard up in this world because you cannot trust too many in this world. The heart is wonderful to forgive and love, but you need your head alot in this very harsh world of ours. I say listen to your gut instinct first, that's the most important!

Today.
My heart said, "Hey!!! Take your blood pressure medicine!! Hey you, Head! I'm talkin' to you! Don't forget!"
My head said, "Ok, ok... in a minute..."
My heart said, "No! Not in a minute. Now! Or you'll forget!"
My heart was right. My head forgot. Guess I'll take the BP meds before bed.
