What about buying her a chain and a charm that has something to do with Grease? Like a car or something. You can find a lot of charms most anywhere now. Then it can become a tradition and she can have tons of charms that each remind her of that specific play.

You could look online and find a grease-themed snow globe, picture frame, or something to that effect. Our theatre class generally gives her something like a spa gift certificate, since it is stressful, and then something fun. One idea that we did is make a big picture frame(poster sized), with spots for all the drama and musical senior pictures to go into, starting with their year(seniors) and ending when the freshmen then would become seniors (every production we take a group picture of all seniors with the faculty director). You could also take the poster that you guys used to advertise the production around school, have everyone sign it and then frame the poster.
Hope this helps!

Get her a Pink Ladies jacket :-) Athletic shops may have a pink satin baseball type jacket and you can have it embroidered. You can also do a cast photo with a big matte and have everyone write on it and frame it nicely. A small engraved metal plate with the show name, dates, and her name etc. can be made at any trophy shop for a small fee.

We did Aladdin and got our director an Arabian jewelry box, and yes, as the other person said, a charm bracelet. There were actually Disney charms, so it worked perfectly...
My suggestion: Charms. They're quick and they even have them at Wal*Mart. Also, besides that, have everyone sign a card and present her with flowers at the end of the production.

A Gift Certificate to a beauty salon
A Gift Certificate to a local diner
At the final show make her an honorary greaser and get her a sandy wig and a bouquet of flowers.

How about a leather looking jacket... If you have enough time, put his name on it as well as the school name. I think he would like that very much and wear it often to future school functions.
