Sounds like you've been in the business long enough to know that there is always a fluctuating market for what scripts are hot and what aren't, and what casting directors are looking for with background. And you are at the awkard age for extras casting, especially for kids. You might want to take a break from it for awhile until you can pass for an adult and then it's time to change agencies. It's a hard job. I sure couldn't do it (anymore).

That's the only place I know of that specializes in kids for background work, but if they haven't called you in a while try calling them and reminding them that you're still interested in working and ask if you need to reregister or come take a new photo. You can also try Hollywoodos.com (Extras Casting Guild) but after the free week trial you have to pay. Some shows have independant casting directors find their kids and do not go through Kids Background Talent, but you would really have to research to find out what/who they are.

Do you have any interest in moving to the mainstream? Having worked on sets, you have a good knowledge of how things work and what's expected of you. If you want to find a legitimate agent to represent you for commercials, TV & film go to SAG.org. Use the dropdown menu on the right labeled 'resources' and choose 'agent information'. On the next screen, on the left choose 'Find a SAG franchised agent' and follow the directions. If you go to workingactors.com, click on actors, then on the team you can see wh

Then you can send them your headshot, resume, and a cover letter stating that you are seeking representation and wait to see if they call you in for an interview.

Goodluck!
