Hmm... the worst is to fall in love with your own reflection, as that implies a complete lack of outside and differing perspective. Lack of perspective is not a good thing at all.

To be caught in one's own trap can lead to valid learning, if the trap is recognised, and the learning desired. Habitual self trapping is a cause for concern.

To laugh at your own joke.... I don't see that as bad at all! After all, laughter heals, and laughing at your own joke is another way of laughing at yourself.

No, they are not all bad: to laugh at a joke that your mind has spontaneously identified is normal and perhaps profitable or enlightening. The worst of the three is loving ones own reflection because that is a symptom for dementia. Getting caught in trap I may have made for an other is an unknown value.

Here are my thoughts....to be caught in your own trap isn't a good thing, obviously. Whether it be a mental or physical trap has no consequence, it causes pain and anguish either way, and there is usually no good way out. To laugh at your own joke could be a good or bad thing. It could mean that you have a sense of humour and can laugh at yourself, even when no one else does. Or it could come across as conceded and rude. It's in the eye of the beholder, as the adage goes. But to fall in love with your own reflection, I believe that would truly be the worst thing that could ever happen to a person. My reasoning is this: To be so obsessed with yourself that you never see anything or anyone in the world around you worth seeing, that sounds pretty horrible to me. One would miss out on so much in life just to be self-involved. And we all know what happened to Narcissus when he discovered his own reflection, he drowned in it! And he even has a psychological condition named after him! Now that MUST be bad! Am I right?

Caught in a trap isn't that bad, because at least then you know you build a working trap, eh? Also, being caught in your own trap doesn't necessarily mean that it was your fault. You good have been pushed or something.

Laughing at your own joke isn't bad either, really. Why tell a joke if you don't personally think it is funny?

Falling in love with your own reflection, however... that just seems egotistical. I mean, I know you should have good self esteem, but falling in love means more than that, and if you fall in love with yourself... personally I think something is wrong with you.

I need some clarification! Caught in your own trap in which your can't extricate yourself? Or one from which you crawl out determined you'll never make THAT mistake again? That would be a learning experience, & not bad. Also, do you mean your own reflection as in a mirror, or a metaphor? Loving onself is good; falling IN love is something else. As for laughing at one's own joke, I'd say GO FOR IT! It really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks of it, enjoy yourself! I often laugh at myself when I'm all alone, things I do, & goofy things I think of. I don't think the first two are intrinsicially bad. The third, not at all. We can look at the generalizations & read all sorts of things into them. I won't.

To be caught in your own trap is a clear-cut sign that you're either an idiot or just very forgetful. There are no positives about this one, none at all. So this is probably the worst.

The other two are signs that you have confidence in yourself, albeit too much. So that's...somewhat of a positive. Falling in love with your own reflection still sucks, but it doesn't hurt your pride like falling into your own trap. It ADDS to your pride. Laughing at your own joke...well, that's not too bad unless your laugh is too conceited-sounding and the joke wasn't very funny to begin with (like J.D. from Scrubs).

To fall in love with your own reflection is worst.

To be caught in your own trap is probably good for you, because it will teach you not to set traps! If you're setting them in the first place, you deserve to be the one caught in them!

If you laugh at your own joke, you just look a bit riduculous. Nobody could blame you for thinking your own joke is funny, because you wouldn't have made it if you didn't think it was funny!

To fall in love with your own reflection, though, is serious bad news for your character. That kind of pride and vanity is blinding and unhealthy.

Is to be caught in your own trap deliberate or unknowing and unintentional? Loving ones reflection may be just what is needed at the moment; much easier to see a beautiful reflection than to see the reality of what is inside sometimes. Laughing at your own joke can be a delightful insight into who you really are. One can choose to take life much too serious at times; better to laugh at ones self during those moments...

The only one I consider to be bad on here is to be caught in your own trap. To be in love with your own reflection is not a bad thing, not a bad thing AT ALL. With the pressure to be perfect that we all pretty much feel, I would say it is not a bad thing in the slightest to be in love with your own reflection, plus as long as you'd be around something reflective, you'd be able to always see the one you love- what a fantastic life, my God. And to laugh at my own joke- again, makes life wonderful.

I think that thow worst would be to be Caught in a Trap made by one's self, because you kinda already knew it was there so that means that you are pretty stupid. The second worse, in my opinion, is to fall in love with your reflection, but that kinda is just like having really high self confidence...and i tend to laugh at my own jokes so that is not really that bad..as long as others are laughing along with you! other wise its just embarassing.
