I want to get a Verizon LG enV or a T-mobile switch around or whatever its called, but I don't know what service to get. The rest of my family has T-mobile, some friends like cingular, and My best friend gets the best plans with Verizon. I'm slightly confused here!

In terms of reliability, I would say Verizon. Cingular, and t mobile currently use GSM technology while Verizon uses CDMA. The difference between the two is that gsm is outdated and only alllows up to 8 calls per channel of spectrum wave length while cdma can be limitless(although you lose clarity the more calls you allow per channel). Verizon generally uses up to 50 calls per channel. Cingular states that they have the least dropped calls but what they leave out is the amount of calls that don't connect and t mobile and cingular are pretty much the same company.(both different parts of at&t). Verizon has better customer service(although t mobile is very good) better phones and call quality and you can change your plan at any time. Thats my opinion, but you can test try any of the different services and come up wit you own conclusion.

I certainly have tried numerous diverse on the spot companies, and the only that i've got been happiest with is Nextel/sprint. I used to artwork for Verizon, and had a Verizon on the spot account, and on a similar time as an worker, it became into probably the worst on the spot provider i've got ever had! the expenses have been extra costly, and Verizon would not grant the excellent programs, the two. i admire my Nextel! BTW, With Nextel/sprint, you in addition to mght get loose nights and weekends, countless direct connect (walkie talkie) and all incoming calls are loose. that's great!

for me it is verizon cause i t-moblie sucks and i had so many dropped calls with cingular... but different services suits everyone's needs better then others so i would choose what fits your budget and once your contract ends switch to another.

I'm telling yea, choosing cingular was the best choose I've ever made. the only real place that my phone doesn't work is in deep valleys.
