HOME SCHOOL OR PRIVATE SCHOOL

ask your parents to home school the schools out here are very disappointing

be carefull schools have been gong into lock down situations for the past weeks do to kids bringing guns school or because of people hearing gun shots.

there are too much drugs, sexual predator teachers and bully's who terrorized people on campus sad thing is the teachers and administers do nothing about it

so be carefull then.

Ohh the most competitive schools around the San Diego area are defenitely Carlsbad High, La Costa Canyon and Torrey Pines! Those three schools are the top in the state right now. They have the best sport programs too! I actually go to Carlsbad HIgh!!Go Lancers!!!!!!!!!!CIF CHAMPIONS(2007) For football, waterpolo, basketball and volleyball!!!

BEST: La Jolla High, Serra High, UC High, SCPA (San Diego school of Performing Arts)

GOOD/VERY GOOD: Clairemont High, Kearny High, Point Loma High, San Diego High

OK: Sweetwater High, Mount Miguel, Madison High, Oceanside High, Patrick Henry High, Garfield High

NOT VERY GOOD: Hoover High, Lincoln High, Crawford High, Gompers High, Morse High, San Diego Charter

Just remember that all the schools on this list are good schools, even the Not Very Good ones!

In general the schools are better here than LA. I don't think the people are too much different, on average. It would be best to go to the school nearest to where you live, all other things equal. Poway, Coronado, La Jolla High seem to have the best reps. But its probably more important to avoid a bad one. Its hard to generalize, there are so many. You should look into the Magnet and Charter schools also, many have interesting specialties that might be just what you are interested in.
