Ok go to "My Aim'' on the top left. Then click save buddylist at the bottom. The save it in a folder like my documents or where ever you want then on your new screenname go back to my aim the click load buddylist and go to the folder you saved it in then double click it. And your buddylist os fully loaded with your friends! Oh and If you want to add me here is my screenname Xo Marci 3 Ox

For AIM 6.0, you need to download the plugin for it: http://www.aim.com/windows/plugins.adp
Scroll down and it's the Buddy List Options plugin.

Login under your old screen name, you can choose to export your buddy list in one of the menus and then log on with your new one and import the file you just created. Everyone will be there and in their proper groups.

click save ur buddy list on ur old one and then on ur new one click load buddy list
