I assume 2x+5 is under the radical, √(2x+5).

So you have a binomial and multiple each term by each term (FOIL):

[ 5 - √(2x+5) ]² =
25 - 10√(2x+5) + [√(2x+5)]² =
25 - 10√(2x+5) + 2x + 5 =
2x - 10√(2x+5) + 30

I believe you combine the 5's and then square it by the 2x.

It can be simplified to 10-squareroot(2). Then, treat it as a binomial and multiply it by itself term by term.
