I think abortion is legalized murder of a viable human being.

It's wrong in the sense that you might consider it wrong to walk past a burning building where you hear a baby crying, and not dash in yourself, to save it.

It's also wrong to /force/ a woman to carry an unwanted child to term. Reproduction is a terribly personal, private activity, and not something the government has any business forcing upon anyone.

If you're apalled by abortion - and you have every right to be - it would be more constructive to work to prevent unwanted pregnancies, than to try to force women to have babbies against thier will.

In other words: yes, pro-choice is 'murdering babies,' but 'pro-life' is also 'enslaving women.'

Wrong. The right of the child to life trumps the woman's right to "not carry a baby when she doesn't want to." At least that is how I feel. And abortions during the third trimester are appaling.

abortion is neither right nor wrong. it's a choice and one that needs to remain legal, for if it's not legal, women will suffer and women will die just like in the dark days of DIY abortions, back-alley abortions, ect.

Personally I think it's wrong, but when it comes to legislation and wheter it should remain legal, I agree with Rudi Guliani's view. Plus, the church should stop telling us to vote for candidates simply becasue they are pro-life. Voting on one issue is not the effective way to choose a leader.

I think it's morally wrong, but a law banning it in all or most circumstances would be difficult (if not impossible) to enforce.
