i.e.: "Everyone who believes in God must vote against 'Mormon', Mitt Romney.

I find this repulsive. Can you imagine the uproar if anyone made the comment: Everyone who believes in God must vote against 'black' Barack Obama. How about: Everyone who believe 'females' are inferior must vote against, 'that woman, Hillary'?

How about this for more of a double standard?

If I were a Black person, I'd be ashamed that Al Sharpton was part of my race. I saw him tonight on CNN and he didn't let the inept reporter get in one word. He had her tongue-tied and she was a typical CNN nothing. She was worthless.

But, back to Al, he thinks that people are total fools and that if he keeps talking, thus preventing others to question him and establish dialog with him, Al thinks he won the debate.

If I told you how I feel about Al Sharpton, I'd get banned from YAHOO. He is the worst type of human being in that he thrives off the hardship of others. And, as a coward and less than a man, he always attempts to defend himself by declaring his foe a racist. He is a media construct that has run amok.

Well, Mitt Romney is a Mormon, so that bit is factually correct. I fail to see the logic behind the rest of it. Mormons believe in God, why should fellow Mormons vote against Mitt for being a Mormon?

That's not just a double-standard, it's nonsense.

Al Sharpton desires to take a relax pill and bite on it for awhile. he's often butting into issues that don't difficulty him. i'm no longer Mormon and don't have self assurance something on the subject of the Mormon faith, whether, i think of a representative of LDS ought to have a one on one w/ Mr. Sharpton on CNN or FOX community and make him squirm. he's often attacking human beings and desires to comprehend what it feels desire to be interior the warm seat - first hand.

It makes me mad as a supporter of Mitt. But this could help Mitt in the polls by getting his message out due to this publicity. Also Mitt's Dad,George M. Romney also was PRO-Civil Rights, including marches with Martin Luther King Jr, so Al doesn't know what he is talking about.

Those are good examples of how some persons (think?).

I would state for the record, that Rev. Al Sharpton should apoligise on national TV to Mitt. Romney himself. And he should do it by the weekend.

I dont what demnomination Rev. Al is from, but I would think twice before attending a church service given by him, if he mentions comments like that. That goes against what Jesus taught.

Paul stated for us to respect others differences in religious practices, and to hold our tongues when visiting other churches with different ways of practicing.

Maybe he could address the mormon church itself in Utah and apologise. If he does, I'll forgive him for comments like that.

Sharpton has pushed for greater divisions in this country since he learned to dress. Those who enabled Him to gain media attention should be embarrassed for their actions. Martin Luther King Jr pushed for good things and believed in a cause. Sharpton uses his so called status to enrage rather than unify.

Al Sharpton thinks he is riding high with power since he put down one liberal commentator. He may soon go over the cliff himself if he does not check his ego.

It's horrible. Sharpton is an idiot, and as a supporter for Romney, Sharpton should just shut up.

But, this also have Romney a chance to show his poise with his response.

I am not aware of the man or the remark. You should find out the context too. The press does marvellous things to twist what people say to make a story.
