No, it doesn't.
I heard someone say that if you shake the mouse pointer rapidly, it helps the page load quickly also. Guess what, that doesn't work either.

It might do this nifty psychological thing that makes if feel like it loads more rapidly. holding the spacebar scrolls to the bottom of the page so as a page loads you see all the pieces appear really fast Its kind of fun to watch.
if the mouse is out of reach you can use the spacebar to scroll
I can think of reasons this could work I will do more research
It appears to work on sites with pop up ads

Myth. I've also heard that shaking the mouse all around the screen makes a page load faster which is obviously bs too.
Yay, i wasn't the only one who heard the mouse one.

Um... no.
Who told you that?
Basically, that just makes the site load slower as the computer is not only processing the site, but also every keystroke.

Hah. That's a cute question. Nothing can really speed up your internet connection. But if you have cable or DSL, you can use TCP Optimizer ( http://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php ) and tweak your internet settings.

Forgive me, but I bet that everyone that reads this is trying to see if it really works.
