I am assuming that you are asking about divorce among christians and not the populus in general. Now the the answer to your question is simple, because they are all anal retentive. They don't know how to try and do new things, They just don't know how to loosen up and unwind.

Divorce rate is high among all religions.
The most important FACT is that the modern society in all over the World, does not give any weight to FAMILY, so when there is all kinds of pressure from the society, how a poor family could stay together?
They fight with each other, as they have no power to fight with oppressive in the Government and Corporations!

There is a high rate of divorce among Christians, because of Satan. Satan does not want to see successful marriages. God is for marriage and anything God is for, Satan is against. Satan brings about temptations such as adultery etc. Satan also speaks lies into people's minds, so sometimes what people think are not their thoughts, but Satan's. So, it imperative to read, study and meditate on God's Word, so that one can discern God's voice and ignore satan's.
