Ok All of you are right with the whole getting the dna test. Ive been back from over seas for about 7 months now and ive called her 2 or 3 times. Ive wanted to ask her to take a test to see if it is mine but every time i call her we talk for like a second and she always says she has to go. What do i do? Im about to leave again in sept and i dont know if i wanna know if the kid is mine. Im not sure if i wanna have that thought of it being mine and being in iraq. not a good mix. what do you think?

Well, first you have to decide if you want to know or not. If you don't want to know then just go on with your life, let her go on with hers, and let her husband be the dad regardless of DNA. As far as knowing you have a kid and being in Iraq, there are literally tens of thousands of soldiers over there now who have kids, are you insinuating that they are not able to do their jobs as well due to having kids? And for what reason do you want to know? Are you going to rip the child (who at this point does not know you from Adam) out of a two-parent home on alternating weekends? Are you going to send financial support for the next 18 years? Perhaps it would just be better to let things be the way they are. And don't go into the "a child should know their dad" crap, he/she has a dad. And in the future, use a condom and stay away from married women.

As the wife of a soldier, I know that there is more to worry about over there across "the big pond" than this. You have to remember that this woman was married when you had sex with her, and that shows to her character that she may not be the most honest person. You have tried to do the right thing by contacting her and offering up to take a DNA test. The ball is in her court now. Is she pressuring you for money? Where you the only one she was sleeping around with? Please do not stress too much if she is unwilling to participate, you need to keep your head clear so that you can return home safely.

if u asked her and she said no but wants money from u take her to court make her get it done.
