BUt i was wondering, every time i pour water in the tank like after a water change all my fish rush up to swim the current of the water all my fish do it(except my angels their preatty boaring) they swim swim swim then get pushed down thats when another fish comes up. My koi, white cloud minnows, guppies, goldfish, even oscar( they are all in diffrent tanks don't fret) so why do they do that? is it their entertainment?

Fish, especially koi, minnows guppies and goldfish love currented water. This by nature means not only food but lots of fresh dissolved oxygen water, since in the wild this is where they would feed in a current. It kind of revives them. It is kind of funny to watch.

Maybe they just like the current. You could put a powerhead or pump filter in that causes a little current and see if they are just as into it over the long haul. Or just save water changes as a special treat.

I think they are just responding to you opening the lid and something hitting the surface. Usually to them that means food.
