civil rights are part of the Constitution, not the Bible. ever hear of separation of church and state? the Bible has nothing to do with civil rights. we want equal rights...like all other American citizens. why should some people have more rights than others? why do you think you're superior and should have more rights? and, please tell us....do YOU read the Bible? or are you just one of those who "use" religion to justify bigotry?

hi crazy christian guy,
First of all- it may be very hard to you to grasp this concept but Il give you points even if you tried- the bible is for christians only. Ok get it? Practicing christians choose to live by it and can do so- i dont care. However no body is obligated to follow the bibles guidelines. Especially when someone is not a practicing christina or is of someother religion there is no reason why the biblical teaching should apply to them. Is this hard for you to understand? why- its so simple.

We don't want civil rights. We already have civil rights by virtue of our existence (rights come from nature, according to the Declaration of Independence). We demand that our already-existing rights be protected against homophobes who think the United States is a theocracy and who think they have the power to dictate to other sovereign citizens how to live their lives.

I don't want civil rights, I want marriage, same as everyone else. I want respect, no matter what I do in life.
It's consensual, it's loving, whatever else you can say you cannot deny those 2.
This is a legal issue btw, the bible doesn't get a say in law.

Don't worry about this!
If you're are a true Christian you should concentrate on, for example, the Bible.
Would you deny a follower of Islam equal rights? After all, they are obviously leading unchristian lives. For that matter, would you deny rights to people who worship a different branch of Christianity to yourself?
Why be so intolerant? Lead life as you see fit and allow other's to lead their lives as they see fit.
Your point of view is very narrow!

Do you read the Bible? The Bible states that many of the actions that YOU do are a sin and will send you straight to Hell. You should not skip parts.
Everyone sins. Even YOU!!!

civil rights aren't in the bible. The bible says "Render unto Ceasar that which is Ceasar's" meaning follow the law where you live. And the law is not determined by religion and shouldn't be or we don't have a free country for all.
