well that all depends on how far along you are. If you are almost due then it means you might want to relax. Take a bath or put ur feet up. Backs are one of places that kill us the most when pregnant. How are the pains? Feels like someone is stabbing you? throbing pain? steady pain? U should have decribed it and then i could tell u better.

It could just be the extra weight of your belly putting pressure on your lower back muscles. The other thing you might want to consider is a UTI. They are VERY common during pregnancy and tend to cause some lower flank pain. Check with your doctor in the morning.

If it is early in the PG, it is probably just the muscles stretching to a new position. If it is later... why are you walking that much? Sit down, and hopefully nothing else will develop... If you are not used to walking... don't start in the last trimester for crying out loud!

It depends on how far along you are - but probably just a sign to slow down a little.

Could also be your posture or muscles that are not being stretched correctly. Could also be that you need more supportive shoes for the new girth your carrying.
