A gay Texan lawyer keeps texting me. How the heck do I stop it? (Without smashing, shortcircuting, or making the phone explode. Or gettig a new phone/changing numbers.)

That's harassment. Tell him once to stop it, and then don't respond again. You can also block his messages - check the cell company for how to do it. You can also file harassment charges with the police. Read "The Gift of Fear" for more info.

1) go to police, tell them. this is harassment
2) go to a cellphone store and tell them to block him
3) tell him to stop and if he dosen't then you got the two options above #3.
