I'm the same way I have what i call half a uterus. one ovary ,and one kidney which is a little larger than just one. I have 4 children all girls. The doc says when i was conceived some of my cells did not divide so i have only one of some things. I did have a lot of discomfort from my uterus stretching so much while pregnant. I'm not a doc but you may want to find out if you only have one kidney also. If you should ever have to have a Cesarean you will have a room full of onlookers because what you have is so rare every one wants to see it. Well that was my experience .

You should still be able to get pregnant, both ovaries have eggs, and usually alternate releasing them. It may be a little more difficult and you may not release an egg every month (not positive) but you should still ovulate and be able to get pregnant. And as long as you have a uterus you should be able to carry a child. I suggest getting one of those ovulation tests from the drug store and keeping track of it on the calendar so you know when the best time to "try" to get pregnant.

This is honestly a question for your gyno. However, I know a couple of girls that have gotten pregnant, carried to term, and had more than one child with just one ovary. As long as you're still ovulating correctly, there's always a chance that you can pregnant regardless the number of ovaries. :)

Good Luck, honey!

Sure you can. It may be a little more difficult because you only have one working ovary, but it is definitely possible.......
My stepmother's doctor told her that she couldn't get pregnant because her uterus was tilted....and guess what???? I have a little brother.
I want to wish you the best of luck with that in the future and may God bless and keep you safe and healthy

Yes as long as you ovulate. One ovary doesn't mean anything except that you only let go one egg like every other month.

Why are you asking random people. You should go to a doctor so they can visually examin you. Even if there was a doc on here he can't determin anything without medical info of you and proper visuals. Xray or looking right up there! GO TO A DOCTOR!!!!

It's still very possible.
However, it will take much more work and a lot of planning.
Talk to your doctor and see if s/he can tell you when you'll be ovulating or get one of the ovulation tests to better predict that right time to do it.

good luck.

If your ovary and uterus are functional and fertile, then yes.

You need to see a fertility doctor, once your thoroughly checked out, the doctor can possibly give you options on how to conceive a child.
