i think of this sequence is as hassle-free to call as that's to call a coin toss. i actually think of the two area has an equivalent threat to win. i understand Miller is a great goalie, yet people should not be speedy to brush aside Emery. With the forged protecting middle in front of him, it truly is no longer hassle-free to get too many by using him. Buffalo needs to climate the Heatley, Spezza and Alfy hurricane in the event that they are to have a real looking threat at triumphing. additionally save in mind that Ottawa became between the main well liked communities interior the final few months of the season, and additionally interior the final 2 sequence. Buffalo has had some stumbles interior the playoffs as much as now, yet have been in a position to recoup properly sufficient to win. i won't be in a position to anticipate day after today night, the wait is killing me.

I think this series is as easy to call as it is to call a coin toss. I truly think either side has an equal chance to win.
I know Miller is a great goalie, but people shouldn't be quick to dismiss Emery. With the solid defensive core in front of him, it can be hard to get too many by him.
Buffalo needs to weather the Heatley, Spezza and Alfy storm if they are to have a realistic chance at winning.
Also keep in mind that Ottawa was one of the hottest teams in the last few months of the season, and also in the last two series. Buffalo has had a few stumbles in the playoffs so far, but have been able to recoup well enough to win.
I can't wait for tomorrow night, the wait is killing me.

Sabres need to play a full 60 minutes if they want to win tonight. It's going to be a hard fought series but I'm hoping Buffalo pulls through in 5
Buffalo has a minor league baseball team The Buffalo Bisons and they're pretty decent, they've won championships in the past and I think we have some type of basketball team that just started out, might be semi-pro but I'm not to sure about that one.

Lets look at the past few Stanley Cup Champs:
2006 Carolina Hurricanes- beat the Devils in the playoffs
2004 Tampa Bay Lightning- beat the Devils in the playoffs
2003 New Jersey Devils- Devils won
2002 Detroit Red Wings- didn't have to play the Devils
2001 Colorado Avalanche- beat the Devils
2000 New Jersey Devils- Devils wons
According to the trend, Ottawa should win the cup this year.

I think the team that comes out of the Eastern Conference Finals on top will be the team that managed to be on its A-game all series long, which my Sabres have struggled with so far this playoffs. I know they can figure out Emery, but Ottawa is so good that it isn't going to be much of an advantage. I, of course, believe in my team and have no doubt that they can do anything they put their collective minds (and hearts) to. For all hockey fans, both conference finals and, as always, the true finals are going to be absolutely phenomenal this year.
P.S. This is for shotgun_mercenary, but Buffalo does have a minor league baseball team. They're the Bisons (nicknamed "the herd"). Not terrible, but nothing super-special--just your run of the mill farm team.

Buffalo fans will say no.
Ottawa fans will say yes.
The best part about this is that the players will actually have to play the games and one set of fans will be proven wrong.
The big problem with asking this question is that the fans of both these teams really care a lot about their teams, as you can see by all the opposite answers.
What bothers me is that you're a Sens fan saying Buffalo will probably win? Have you watched both these teams play? As a Sens fan I'd say Buffalo needs to raise their game significantly to get to the level the Sens are at!
Sens in 5 maybe 6!

Yes Ottawa will win. I'm guessing 5 games. Buffalo looks hesitant after playing the Rangers. From last year, to this year they don't have McKie who blocks shots and it seems the chasing has reversed from last year to this year.

The Sabres should win. The difference will be goal-tending. IT'S MILLER TIME. The Sabres need to play the whole 60 minutes every game. This should be an exciting series to watch. Briere needs to pick it up a notch.

lol, playboy's funny...they're gonna dominate, but it will go to 5 or 6 games..hows that dominating?
I think Buffalo is the favorite with Ottawa being the underdog, but remember last it year it was the other way around, so Ottawa does have a chance
