probably cause the wwe is not to the likeing of the people who run the world wild life federation.
if the other companies who use wwf as an abbieviation and those companies had as much exposeure as the wwe, those companies might have to change their names to, but not guaranteed. lol :)

damnit_dave78 the World Wildlife Fund was founded first.

Little bit of info for everyone else, the WWE was sued by the WWF in the early nineties and it wasn't settled in court until the early 2000s.
