EG @ very dark skined parents with natural afro hair show their children who are extremly light in colour and have quite often much straigher hair?
I find this quite embarrasing and wish they come out of this complex!

Which shows, specifically, are you talking about? I can't think of any shows that do what you describe.

On One on One. Flex Alexander and Tichina Arnold, 2 dark-skinned actors, were parent to Kyla Pratt. And both Tichina Arnold and Kyla Pratt had straight hair on the show.

On All of Us, Duane Martin and Lisa Raye are parent to
Khamani Griffin, who, from what I can see, isn't light skinned, nor does he have straight hair.

Even on Girlfriend's, Golden Brooks has a young son, and he doesn't look exactly like her, but he's cute, and has brown-skin just like she does. His hair doesn't look straight, either.

So which shows are you talking about? And btw, you can be light skinned and have 2 dark skinned parents. The straight hair could be relaxer/perm/flat iron, etc.

in black families kids can come any number of colors, just because there are 2 dark skinned black people with "afro" hair dosent mean the cant have a light skinned straighter hair child, in america the majority of black people are mixed with other stuff weather they look it or not, in cases like that you need to look @ the grandparents

Actualy I have to agree with the OP. TV shows do cast light skinned actors/actresses more. Its not fair. I think its another thing society needs to change.
