Why should I do homework? So, I can work in a cubicle the rest of my life? I could get more money by dancing and having men give me cash to cop a feel.

Homework is not a waste of time, it gives teachers the oportunity of knowing if the students know what they are actually doing, or that they are actually learning.
What are you? A high school student? Well, let me tell you, if you drop out, or if you don't further your education, yes, you will end up in a minimum wage job, but if you DO further your education and graduate from college, you can be pretty successful if you want to.
Dancing and getting naked in front of men is a disgrace. You should not even consider that an option, that's just the worse thing a woman can do. It's the easy way out, it's the dirty way out. Do you know how many men are going to touch you with their dirty hands? Do you know how many DISGUSTING looking men are going to be staring at you with those "I want to rape you" eyes? Think about the bad parts.. it's worse than it sounds.

There are a lot of other jobs that do not include a cubicle or stripping. Do something fun and non sexual...be a marine biolgist and travel the world. Be an architect and build buildings, be a professor and give speeches at different colleges...not everyone has to have a job that keeps you confined. And homework is one of the ways teachers can tell if you really understand the material they give you...its just like having an open book test.

There are many more types of jobs out there than working in a cubicle!!! I wish to be a Marine Biologist, a job that would not only let me travel, but it would let me interact with both marine animals and people. Homework is meant to refresh you on what was studied in class. By not doing the homework because you "get it" or just think its stupid you are costing yourself crucial life opportunities in the future! What would you do if you find that you turn 30, are over weight, and never finished school because you thought you would rather dance at a club?

Maybe you could, and maybe you couldn't. Is that really what you want to do with your life? Homework is to help you understand the material you are learning, so you can move on to bigger and better things (like not working in a cubicle). If you feel like you don't need it to understand the material, then you are too smart to want to spend your life that way. If you just don't like doing it, then push through it anyway, that is what will separate you from the cubicle workers. It's up to you, it's your life.

I shouldn't say that. Homework is a waste of time, but it will sure help be successful. More successful than working in some boring cubicle or dancing. I rather do something that is actually worth my time and not be some looser. And looks don't last forever because eventually your thighs will get all flabby and guys won't want to see you anymore.

well although homework may feel like a waste of time doing it. we all know that as students we dont like to pay attention during class, all the time... and well without homework i dont think many kids could/would learn much of anything.. so actually, no, i dont really think that it is a waste of time in the long run. and WHAT ARE YOU THINKING, FOR USING UR BODY AS A CHEAP WAY TO GET MONEY FOR A LIVING?! im sorry but that is just unacceptable, id rather u work at mcdonalds or something rather then strip/prostitute!!

It would seem to be a waste at the time, however, it does teach self discipline. After all who knows if you don't do your homework? At least until the grades make it home!! As to the dancing & strip club scene; It takes about 3 years of that life, drinking, drugs, self disgust, etc., and you'll be hard pressed to find anyone that wants to feel anything!!

Maybe you can make more money by dancing, but will you respect yourself?
Homework is not just work to torture you, it is the reinforcement part of the learning process, and is essential to the retention of knowledge.
Explore yourself, find out what you like. Maybe you could be a real dancer who doesn't get groped on a daily basis.

Miss Mary, you may end up with a transmitted disease and then what? Death!!
Stay out of the way of men who pay for stuff. Where is your mind? Or your mother for that matter?
Get a proper job if you want to get out of school. Obviously the teachers can get no information into you with an attitude like yours. Very sad.

Your attitude is sad. Your answer is to be raped or get sexually transmitted diseases.Is that how you want to live your life ?I am sure you could aim a lot higher if you really wanted to.
