becuase objects in motion stay in motion and objects at rest stay at rest unless acted on by an outside force.
after being active for a while, you want to keep staying active. but once you fall alsleep, you stay asleep until you have to get up, when you don't want to get up.

Obviously you are sleeping but you are not resting. Did you talk to your doctor? Maybe you have sleep Apnoea.
Obstructive sleep apnea (obstructive sleep apnea) is cause by the closing of the upper airway while asleep. The uvula and soft pallet collapses on the back wall of the upper airway. Then the tongue falls backward, collapsing on the back wall of the upper airway, the uvula and soft pallet forming a tight blockage, preventing any air from entering the lungs. The effort of the diaphragm, the chest and the abdomen only cause the blockage to seal tighter. In order to breathe the person must arouse or awaken, causing tension in the tongue thereby opening the airway, allowing air to pass into the lungs.

Maybe you are a night person whose individual schedule does not mesh with that of the world. You get up later and then your day ends later than most people. If you do that because your body works better on those hours that is tough to change.
Either that or you have made yourself seriously out of sync with the hours you need to function in the real world (school and job). You fall into that habit by staying up late so you have to sleep the next morning and then since you got a late start you need to finish late and so on and so on. That is curable by trying to keep to a regular schedule.

You're clearly living in the wrong Time Zone. Try to move house to somewhere 2 - 4 hours' west of your current location, and problem solved!

I have always been a night person, and have my energy at night, and want to sleep in the morning. I wish there were more people like us, and we could change the time restraints, etc.

there's a whole lot to "sleep hygene" and how to fall asleep. but here's a thought, maybe you're not getting "good" sleep. you finally fall asleep and maybe toss and turn or snore a lot, so all that interrupts your sleep and you wake up very tired.

Habit. You can go to bed early and get up early, or go to bed late and get up late. You may need fewer or more hours in bed. Work it out.

Maybe you're consuming too much caffeine during the day which is making you too wired to sleep.
