i could say individuals have extra oppurtunity to question, yet on the comparable timeare extra brainwashed via fact we've a extra suitable media presence. Brainwashed isn't an extremely sturdy term nonetheless. i do no longer understand what the cuban government does for propoganda yet i don't have self assurance it to to be too plenty. Cubans won't be motivated to think of a undeniable way as plenty, yet they surely don't have innovations in expressing distinctive comments. maximum outstanding me in this nonetheless, i'm no longer too fimiliar with the cuban gov.

I'm not really sure if this is a question or a rant (I'm thinking its a rant), but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and answer anyway.
I don't either the Americans or the Cubans are very brainwashed. I think there is a small core of true believers, a small core of dissidents, and large majority of passively skeptical people in both societies. The scores of Cubans who have escaped to the U.S. indicate that they don't buy into the Castroite ideal. Likewise, most Americans have a pretty strong distrust of the government, even if they go along with it to keep out of trouble. As evidence, just read a few questions here.
As to our democratic character, most nations have compulsory service. we're actually unique among many Western nations in that we do NOT currently have a conscript army. There's talk about a draft on the news, but that's just typical journalistic sensationalism.
As to voters in D.C., it is anti-democratic that they are not represented. Of course, the number of people who live in D.C. is pretty small compared to the country at large (about 0.2% of the U.S. population).

If those Cubans trapped in Cuba could, they would fight for freedom. Those who wouldn't are the ones in position of power who want to maintain their tyrannical control over others.
There will be a re-institution of the draft ONLY if Democrats are in the White House.

Tough question. There's certainly more obvious state 'brainwashing' (state propaganda with no alternatives) going on in Cuba, but the very obviousness and ubiquity of it may well make it less effective. There are mutliple interests in the US trying to 'brainwash' Americans in more subtle ways (we call it advertising or public relations or campaigning) - political parties trying to get your vote, corporations trying to get your business, special interests trying to influence your opinions, etc. That may add up to a whole lot of brainwashing activity, and it may be very successful on individuals who jack into one party line to the exclusion of all else.

First, we don't "Invite" the Cubans, they sneek in.
Second, as a Euro, if you don't like us, feel "FRRE" NOT to call us to bail your coward butts out next time your being conquered. Twice in a century is enough.
Until then enjoy your $6 a gallon gas, and by the look of your teeth, a severe lack of Dentists...
Call when you are all speaking the language of your next conquerer. Then tell me about your "Freedom"...

Yeah, kind of like the way I laugh every time I read about some Muslim riot or terrorist bombing over there in the land of the "free".
